Pointe Commercial Real Estate grew out of its sister company, Pointe Property Group, to provide top-notch Chattanooga commercial real estate services. In May 2015, Pointe Property Group, a privately held commercial real estate development and investment company founded in 1990, formed Pointe Commercial Real Estate. Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, both Pointe Commercial Real Estate and Pointe Property Group are dedicated to creating partnerships with organizations throughout Chattanooga and beyond to provide first class business environments through commercial development, management, purchases, sells and leases.

The company was founded by Pointe Property Group founder Rex Allen and

Pointe Commercial Real Estate's managing broker.

Prior to the formation of Pointe Property Group, Rex Allen gained experience in real estate from his involvement in the acquisition and construction of over one million square feet of industrial space in five states with Imperial Cup Corporation. A closely held family-owned business, Imperial Cup Corporation realized great success during the Allen family’s years of ownership. The family sold the business in 1989 to International Paper, Inc., and Rex found new success in the real estate industry.
